ABOUT US
We are Lucy and Izabella, an Aunty-Niece duo based in Melbourne Australia. We're regulars at the cinema Nova in Melbourne and have seen countless movies together; our favourite places to eat are Trotters and Tiamo in Carlton. We love going to the theatre, shows, concerts. We share a love of reading and travelling and have been on some memorable trips together. We are looking forward to doing more of everything when we reemerge from the COVID-19 cloud.
Lucy is a Counsellor and accredited Meditation Teacher. She runs Meditation classes, workshops and groups as well as counselling sessions. She was about to launch a winter retreat just before our world went into lockdown. In a previous incarnation, she worked in Marketing for over 20 years. She has a keen interest in the power of story in our lives and the richness of the cycle of nature around us. Her interests include dream work, mythology, astrology, cooking, reading, writing, walking and travel. Lucy also likes seeing Izabella's photos of Oscar and may start knitting again.
Izabella is an actor and performer. Her work and pursuit of storytelling has taken her all over the world, from Morocco and New York to Bendigo and Wollongong. Having just come off the show ‘Home, I’m Darling’ at Melbourne Theatre Company, Izabella was preparing for her next theatre project before we went into an unprecedented free fall. Besides from acting, Izabella’s interests include drinking coffee, getting lost in a book or film and taking copious amounts of photos of her dog, Oscar. She is taking this self-isolation time to teach herself the ukulele.
